世の中の多くのひとは、アーティストと自覚しているひとが作る何か特別な作品をアートだと考えます。
しかし、価値というのはそれを見い出すひとによって千差万別です。どんなに有名なアーティストの作品でも、それを知らない人にとってはただの紙くずかもしれません。
逆に、どんな無名なひとが作ったものでもそこに何らかの価値を見い出すのであれば、それは誰が何と言おうと立派なアートなのではないでしょうか？
また、自分でもの作りしている自覚がなくても、日々の生活を豊かにするため工夫していることというのは何かしらあるはずです。
それは例えば料理であったり、服の着こなしであったり、アクセサリーであったり…なかには自分の部屋を飾るために描いた絵や家族の記録として残した写真、
自分のお家に合わせて日曜大工した家具、子供のために縫った服や恋人のために編んだ服、誰かに送った手書きの手紙や花瓶に活けた庭の花…などなど。
よくよく考えてみれば、ぼくらの日常はアートで溢れています。
「ホームメイド展」で集めたいのは、そんな自家製（＝ホームメイド）のものたちです。

私は「ホームメイド展２０１３」にHASEの原画「お花を貰うのはなんと嬉しいことでしょう。」を展示させて頂く予定です。
昨年も参加させて頂きました、このホームメイド展、残念ながら私は今回も会場へ足を運べないのですが、きっと良い時間がそこに有るのだろうと感じでおります。

The representative of Mikan Project , Mr Tanaka has said ,,, ( I might not able to translate well his story,,,but I will try to translate as much as possible I can.)
Many people think that ART is some special works what was made by anyone who aware conscious of I am artist by one's self .
But I think Each person has a value of one's own.
It might just rubbish for a person even any works by any famous artist .
And , It might very various thing for the person even any works by any not famous person.
I absolutely think that There are many various things what was made by anyone who aware conscious of I am not artist by one's self for happy feelings and life.
For example Cook , A clothes was made by anyone for child and sweetheart , A letter for any various person by one's hand , a flower in vase from was picked one's garden and so on.
There are many many art in our everyday life.
I would like to gather and show like that works by hand made from everyday life at [ HOME MADE EXHIBITION ] .
